Mutation of the property would refer to the change of name of the person for whom the property has been assessed in the actual records of the municipal corporation of Delhi. This is as per the relevant act and also the rules thereof. This mutation is only applicable to the property tax and it is not to be used as a legal paper or title at the same time. The person who is buying the property in Delhi is liable to get this mutation to be done after the sale or the person who is benefited in any case of a death, in the municipal corporation of Delhi.
